The Dolphin Fleet Has Acquired The Portuguese Princess The Dolphin Fleet, the originator of whale watch trips to Stellwagen Banks, has acquired The Portuguese Princess and added it to the Dolphin Fleet of boats. The Dolphin Fleet has been venturing out on educational and whale watching trips from Provincetown Harbor since 1975, and presently have over 900 whale watching trips scheduled for 2008. The Portuguese Princess will be a fourth boat to the Dolphin Fleet, and will increase both the capacity and the number of trips The Dolphin Fleet will offer this whale watching season. We've merged the ticketing for the Portuguese Princess with our own online ticket system for the convenience of all who want to take a trip. All tickets previously purchased for the Portuguese Princess will, of course, be honored. |

What You Can Expect on a Whale Watch Trip Because we work with whales in the wild, each trip is different. The special habitat we visit is the summer home to such species as the Humpback, Finback and Minke whales. The North Atlantic Right Whale is one of the most endangered species in the world, and may be seen in and around the waters of Provincetown and Cape Cod Bay. Toothed varieties such as pilot whales, white-sided dolphins and harbor porpoise are often seen as well. These are just a few of the species you are apt to see on a trip with The Dolphin Fleet. Please visit the many other pages on our site as we try to share what we believe will be one of the most gratifying experiences you will have in your lifetime. |
